My valve cover gasket has stopped leaking on my (all aluminum) M42 thanks to four timeserts. Two of the four were helicoiled twice both breaking due to vibration. I had the urge to replace all 15 holes with the steel timeserts, but didn’t want to risk it.

You are correct. Had an 87 Grand Prix with a 305. My mom bought it new, through the years it ate a head gasket, was replaced with a 4 bolt 350 which in turn ate a 200 4R. We then replaced it with a proper 700R4. Rally package w/ T-Top, god I miss the T-Top.

Yeah, it’s pretty soft in the non-performance pack. Like the 2014, you can really feel the boatiness in the Mustang without performance pack. Really what you’re getting are the six piston Brembos though, I’d swap out either suspension for something more configurable.
