I'd say 80% of the people buying a plug in hybrid from my dealership are doing so for the HOV access as a primary driving factor. Also, I see your point. All I'm saying is that it is proven that the HOV lane does ease congestion, I wouldn't call it a flat out failure. We still need more people to use it. Will more

Seriously? They couldn't find a better Auto shifter than a shitty 05-09 Mustang one?

New York uses hybrid Fusions. I doubt they're good at pursuits though.

Patrol cars go from idling to full throttle chases all the time, they get push very hard. Frankly, 100k of the abuse that goes into a patrol car is a testament to modern vehicle tech.

Nice rig!

The 2015 F-150's crash panels are much more modular than the previous truck. Ford is betting that replacing a front corner crash will be cheaper in spite of the Aluminum body since it will take half the time to replace the structural components.

38k MSRP on a 4WD Truck? Must have been a base xlt

4WD? Isn't your 2011 a 2WD?

Actually, what you really want in a 2015 F-150 would be an XL Sport. The XLT is now semi up market.

Nah, they're talking about luxobarge versions like Lariat and up. I have an STX Sport, it's no luxury model.

You should know, a refi is the same as any other auto loan, it's about credit and Loan to Value. Most banks/CUs will allow an LTV over 100% when you've got killer credit.

Ah, California and the RoS tag! Still haven't got around to putting my plates on my vehicle.

BMW, not Ford. Ford calls a similar color Grabber Blue.

I always read your stuff!

Will demand wane when the trucks come online in full this summer? Is this just covering up the fact that other truckmakers are finally building trucks as good as Ford's offerings? A lot of questions, not a lot of answers.

As I sit here in a dirty shirt and jeans, having finished a wheel bearing job on my mom's Explorer earlier in the day, I agree. Why not wrench, listening to some jams, breaking bolts loose, sitting in my BMW seat-turned-chair enjoying an adult beverage upon success, relaxing as shit.

When you put it that way...

For a while 2011-2013 I DD'd my E30. I still drive it more than my brand new F-150. A week after I bought it, the throwout bearing froze, so new clutch/TO bearing and off we go. She's never broken down on me and mechanically she's simple to work on. Preventative maintenance goes a long way on a 24 year old vehicle.

I work for a Ford dealer. I have yet to come across a phone that doesn't pair with Sync. 90% of the time, the salesman didn't show the customer how to do it, and they're too technologically inept to open the manual/figure it out. The other 10% of the time it's a hardware/software issue. of that 10%, 90% of the time
