I totally agree, it's very nerve racking to delve into that whole process, especially for non I.T. people. This is the number 1 reason I have not ever considered leaving iOS. They make it so simple to have the newest software, I really can't imagine it being any easier.

Thanks for your reply. The reason why I always opt for the Factory unlocked phones is because I don't live in the U.S. and my local carriers don't offer subsidized rates (although they lock their phones), I'm not really sure what the "Enthusiasts program" is
