I can send messages to an iOS device using an email address only, I can't send a message to a phone number.... It's driving me crazy

A possible solution would be to press the home once button to activate Siri and then use the activation word for all additional commands until that sequence of commands are completed.

Without putting much thought into this or even using it I would have preferred if there was an activation word (Possibly "Siri") that can be used as a handsfree way of starting a command instead of pressing the home button for a few seconds. Is there any possibility of Apple releasing iOS5 on October 4th (Day of event) and releasing the iPhone 5 on the 14th (Genuine question)? I think I'm more excited about the software right now but who knows, that may change after I actually see what they have in store

I'm so upset that I didn't snag one of those HP Touchpads for $99, I'm holding on to the fact that I may have one last chance if HP magically gets more in stock. These articles do nothing but remind me of that fact that I didn't get mine.
