Theory #3: It was a frame-up made to look like Russian or Pro-Russian forces did it in order to erode their political power. Unlike covers86 I don't consider this to be too crazy. The fact that I don't consider it crazy is crazy to me.

For those of you that dont like the "bronze" color

And here is Lotus showing off their new Rimz

Helpful tip next time you go junking: If you find a part you want, but can't get it at the time, remove it like you're going to take it, then stash it in a different car (minivans are great for this as the have loads of room for big parts and not many minvan owners go junking). Plus, the actual cause of the Comet's crashes was the square hatch in the top of the fuselage, not the windows. But you know, don't let facts get in your way.

Ethiopia has a Dreamliner?

You have a real hard-on for hating the 787, don't you? Interesting you chose to use the Comet as an example of similar problems even though it is a completely different issue in every way. Cracking and complete failure of the structural fuselage of the Comet is vastly different than cracking of an outer window pane

If I was a criminal with one of those, I'd steal an X6M and push it off a bridge, just to satisfy myself that I was in crime for the right reason.
