Well its a Japanese company, I can see why it isn't called a Venza in Japan! I don't see how a crossover based on a boring car has anything to do with survival haha. I lived and worked in Italy for Ferrari for couple seasons, I don't recall that word! Everyone spoke English to me, I'm Swedish so it was the only option.

Well I know in Japanese the word venza (according to my Japanese wife) loosely sounds like the word for toilet seat. It makes you wonder why a Japanese company would do that? I guess its for the English market. I think its the Mark X ZiO here in Japan.

Even if it cost a bit much it would save so much over the years it would be worth it. Hopefully the costs come down in time so commuter cars could be as efficient. There is no reason Toyota couldn't build something similar. The first Honda hybrid was similar and with a manual gets pretty good MPGs with a petrol…

The car isn't for looks, its about efficiency. Its much cooler than a Prius so hope it catches on. The covers are pretty important, like in racing it cleans up the air moving around it. The engine is really efficient so I imagine you could take them off and it still wouldn't be a slouch.

Air suspension seats are worth it, once I turned 70 I put one in my FJ60 and it sure does make long trips in the dirt easier on me!
