With that first number going all the way up to 8, I’m assuming we just can’t see the decimal point?

If you’re going to be writing about horseshit in car commercials, you’re gong to be very busy. In fact, you might ant to specialize in one segment to keep it manageable, like say Asian cars, Luxury cars or GMC.
I had a friend who bought one of these (actually a 1994) about a decade ago. He paid $25k. In the first 6 months he paid another $25k in repairs and maintenance. That has always made me shy away from these, but at that price? Cautious NP.
Back in the day, I did some time in Germany while serving in the Air Force. I owned a Euro-spec first gen RX7. Every chance I got, I’d volunteer to drive because I loved stretching that thing out on the Autobahn. One particular trip to Ramstein got extremely exciting.
I more or less used to have this combo. In ‘98 we bought an F150 XLT Supercab 4x4 with V8 and 5-speed and a Mustang Cobra. The truck served us well for 10 years and I still have the Cobra.
I can’t really knock this. For what it is, it ain’t bad. But I can’t see spending that much on a Neon. Close, but still CP for me, mostly due to other options available at that price, like yesterday’s.
Does it have to one of bond’s cars? If not, The R5 in Never Say Never Again
Yup. they aren’t spaced evenly or aligned horizontally either. Philistine, this person.
WTF? Could this be the ugliest exposed suspension ever?
That one in the background there: Nellis Tower. Not the most beautiful, architecturally speaking, but undeniably one of the coolest tower jobs on the planet. Red Flag/Green Flag provide the most intense launch and recovery scenarios found outside a combat zone. The visiting units come from all over the world. If you…
If that reason is utility, then your wrong. Not that utility isn’t the reason more of them exist, it’s that utility isn’t a good reason. Fun, excitement, beauty. Those are good reasons. Utility is a reason born of practicality or necessity and thus we are forced into useful things by pragmatism and (lack of) means.
Now they need to figure out how to make them begin blinking before the BMW begins the lane change.
I liked the auto-down ones in my older cars, but the auto-up ones are way more useful.
Wait, are those rotors rusted? Is that a sign that this car isn’t being driven? Why would it be that an awesome car sits? Maybe it isn’t so awesome? I’m thinking it’s got gremlins. CP.
Looked like the other two were coming in a bit hot as well.
Indeed. How much have they spent on the Model X, which has yet to bring in any money?
My first car was a Fiat 128 Sport Coupe, which had pretty much this same engine. I’ve always wanted one of these and before today, that’s a lot more than I would have considered paying. However, this one is in good enough shape that it would undoubtedly save money that would have been spent to shape-up a lesser copy.…
I hate the “How does your car lose value before the first oil change, ya ask?” guy. I want to slap that dude. “You drove it! Dumbass! How do you not know used things are worth less?”
But, if you are enthusiastic about something, don’t you then get involved? Don’t you then learn things about the subject? I don’t see how you can call yourself an enthusiast if you simply stand there saying you’re an enthusiast and don’t know anything. A fuax-thusiast maybe. I think there are a good number of people…
Wait, is that like Project: Cars or Project-Cars? Because I’d be all on board with virtually patching rusty floor pans in a ‘69 Firebird or building a dual-motor AWD Prelude if I didn’t have to use real money.
