The thing DS9 had that no other Trek had was a captain(commander) who has completely lost his faith. Kirk and Picard both had a solid core of confidence, Jainway was drunk most of the time, so... liquid courage (Note how future Jainway's demeanor completely changes after she has "coffee" in the finale) and Archer was

Did they seriously do that??? That's really lame.

Of all the complaints I had about Star Wars Episode 1-3, the quality of the special effects was not one of them. They wouldn't be watchable without all of the excellent work done by ILM and other associated people.

That was some of the most shameless product placement ever. It was one thing to have him play a shooter after a long day, but the scene where he actually says, "Hey, is that the new Sony Vita," in the middle of a scene was absolutely ridiculous.

And the fact that you'd willing allow yourself to be made the fool shows a lot of yours. Apparently you find being griefed to be an enjoyable experience. Me? I'd just assume log out and back into the server and then hunt you down and teabag your corpse while singing my own national anthem.

How about having some self respect and pride? If you enjoy being humiliated in a video game then keeping singing that national anthem you submissive automaton. Not sure about you but I play videos games to win and have fun. Being made a fool like this means you're losing both goals. And so I ask you...what's the point

Seems like the only draw to this game is the opportunity to grief others. That being said, being humiliated, having your gear stolen, or risk getting killed is contrary to that goal. Just log out when this crap happens, find a different server where you can better your gear and set your own ambush so you can be on the

Exactly what I was thinking. All of these videos are surfacing of players being humiliated, and nobody realizes they can simply log off and find different players? Part of me can't help wondering that these videos are all planned as marketing ploys to hype the game or get YouTube views.

"Open beta with a functional cash shop" i.e. launched.

Bioware also told people that their choices would matter across all three games, then completely ruined it with the ending that they rushed out. So who's more of an asshat, the company that makes promises to people that they can't keep, or the guy that tries to do what he feels should have been done in the first

Nobody's going to be mad at you if you liked the ending. Having said that, do you understand why a lot of people didn't? It was because they sold Mass Effect on the fact that your choices mattered and would drastically alter the story over three games. Then the third game came out, and we found out that our choices

Naw, I didn't have problems with the ending either. To be fair, I actualy liked the original ending even more. As it left things open and left more things to my imagination. But even when I liked it, it's VERY obvious that they had to rush the ending part of the game out. And that's a shame, a huge shame.

Leela: "Five thousand feet!"
Farnsworth: "Dear Lord! That's over one hundred and fifty athmospheres of pressure."
Fry: "How many athmospheres can the ship withstand?"
Farnsworth: "Well, it's a space ship. So I'd say anywhere between zero and one."

I'm not even sure why they were so adamant with killing the trinity when first guild wars had the old 5 piece group of tank, dps, healer, buffer, debuffer. I was originally glad to see it all gone, but now I'd like to see more MMOs with more playstyles like that.

If only the combat was any good. As much as I know GW2 combat against bigger enemies you'll just stand around and spam your distant abilities, painstakingly waiting for them to cooldown...

I hope they gather the required amount of players to execute the delicate guild wars 2 strategy of face-rolling your keyboard to defeat anything.

That's the dumbest things I heard. Naming your children after artists, book characters, historical figures and so on is very common. I'm rather glad I was named from inspiration in music rather than getting something super generic just for the sake of "normal name".

You're hopelessly confused. I do not intend to insult you by saying this. Please understand that correcting you isn't the same as insulting you. People tried to help you by clarifying the rules on hearsay. You can independently verify what we're all saying with Google. Had you done that - had you wished to actually

What does this even mean? Does it mean games that treat you like you have some sense and don't need everything explained to you?

I like casual-unfriendly games. Otherwise I'd be playing on consoles...
