I do not understand why Gift Cards get so much hate. My wife and I love getting (and giving) restaurant cards, and who (who buys iTunes & Apple stuff) doesn't love getting iTunes cards? (I have something like $800 in iTunes music in my wish list there).

For those of us who are hearing impaired, a system that sends a text message when someone rings the doorbell would be a godsend.

Our wedding was at the church on LSU's campus (before they expanded it) and our reception was at the hall a block away (I forget the name of the hall). We had our wedding, stayed to sign the paperwork, and suddenly found ourselves alone (with our photographer) in the church.

I just saw the RiffTrax take on STARSHIP TROOPERS and, at one point, Rico (a soldier, if you're unfamiliar with the film) says to the girl in his platoon, as he's told he has to pick a second in command; "You'll do until you're dead or something better comes along", to which Kevin Murphy (I think) riff'd, "Aw, my

Agreed; we have a few mini-DVDs of our wedding, given to us by friends, and they're perfect. I do wish I would have spent a little more on the photographer but, hell, we were only a very tight budget.

They're in the iMac line to hold the display glass in place. Honest.

You can easily add images to Mail via images in Contacts (aka Address Book); I discovered this after jumping ship from Sparrow a while back:

Bigger than you think. I have an electrician friend who gets asked about systems like this all the time. < /not trolling >

"Who Censored Roger Rabbit" is to "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"

The RiffTrax of that was phenomenal. Even better (though seemingly worse) was that we lost the feed twice at the theater — my first should was "Damn it, Norman!" (you had to see the short before) and then my son yelled, "THE BIRDS GOT THE DISH! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!"

It's coming back in the next update; there was a discussion over at Macworld and Apple went official and commented on it.

Agreed as well.

December 21st is right around the corner.

Re/Dragon: Riders of Berk (or any Cartoon Network series) * it's a Catch 22; they release random episode DVDs to gauge interest in putting a series out on DVD, but few buy the random ep DVDs because they're waiting on season sets. (e.g., still waiting on that S1 Regular Show set, guys...)

All I know is that there were a lot of candy and sugar eating fools back when I was a kid in the 70s, and the real obesity issues took off in the 80s when HFCS became the de facto successor to sugar in *everything*.

The bigger (in terms of width/scale) are more worrisome for rain; the tightly packed ones (like Katrina; see image link below) are more destructive via wind-based damage.

Read somewhere re/how auto-correct can kill a mood; e.g., "I can't wait to ram my duck in your puppy".

Was going to add the same thing — I got all that from watching the trailer on AppleTV last night.

Agreed; I don't see what the big deal is. Is it just more Apple hating?
