I used to drive my grand dads 65 VW bus back in the late 70's.

My dad had a 71 LTD wagon with a 429. Learned to drive with it and passed my driving test in it.

Pretty good advice actually.

Our son is 22, goes to college full-time and works full-time and lives at home. He is determined to get a college degree without any school loans.

We provide him the use of a car, gas and maintenance, insurance and we pay for his books. We had to replace the Saturn he was using earlier this year.....I asked him if

My dad wasn’t much of a car guy........I do remember when I was about 12, his company car (A 71 Torino 4 door sedan with a 302) wasn’t running right.

Yup, my 2000 Voyager had this feature.......good thing too as the windshield wipers were 24 inches long.

60 grand? I’d probably go with a Shelby GT350R.

Mine? I didn’t get in trouble but.......

Doug, in high school I had a 68 Beetle with probably somewhere around 125 horsepower.

We’ll be trading in a 2000 Saturn SL2 this weekend with 120k miles on it’s blown motor.

Here’s mine......I’m sorry, it’s really rough-I just thought the concept was cool-I’m not a Photoshop expert.

4 hours of off-roading? Did they have a gas station on-site?

1977......I had a 68 Beetle with a 2180cc big barrel kit and all the candy.

I don’t like suede or leather. Give me nice cloth seats that aren’t 900 degrees in the summer and don’t freeze your balls to the side of your leg in the winter.

You won’t....they all fail eventually. I’m a 3 time loser :-)

Some folks on here might be thinking of the laser pointers used in meeting and whatnot.

Back when I was a teenager (late 70’s) I went from bicycles to mini bikes to a 125cc dirtbike to a 400cc Suzuki road bike. I couldn’t imagine going right into a motorcycle without picking up some slow speed handling from riding a bike.

Kinda looks like a sperm cell on wheels.......

Those frames are made of flexible chrome-moly steel and have slip joints that are designed to let the chassis flex several inches in the middle-it helps plant the rear tires. Larry's chassis reached the end of it's fatigue life rather violently.
