I'd guess that the bike is probably as fast in a straight line as an F1 car....with a rider aboard- that thing has an almost 2:1 weight/power ratio. A 2014 Corvette would have to have about 1700 horsepower to have the same ratio.

Our son is 21 and our daughter is 26. Our son drives a 15 year old Saturn SL2 (with only 70k miles) that has been handed down through 3 generations. He will be driving this car for as long as it doesn't nickel and dime him to death.

Somebody oughta tell this guy about that Discovery show that has all the fake street racers.

Holy shit......I drive about 6 miles on my local Interstate on my way to work everyday here in PA. Since I go to work really early, I tend to go a tad faster then I should be going since the highway is usually deserted. Not sure what doing 95 in a 65 would get me here in PA, but I think I might slow down a bit.

We used to use my 2001 Chrysler Voyager to camp in. Take all the seats out and it comfortable sleeps 2 people and can still keep all your stuff on the inside.

Very cool. I used to autocross my 88 Tempo....I ran cut down coils with a set of Hoosier slicks on steelies. It handled reasonably well for what it was, even though it only had 88 horsepower.

I wasn't there, but it sounds like two guys with egos ran into each other.....unfortunately, one of the guys with the oversized egos had a badge :-)

Lightning is scary shit.....I came within 5 seconds of a direct hit. I was standing on my front porch during a thunderstorm....walked back in my front door-within seconds of me closing the front door-the door took a direct hit from a massive lightning strike.

A couple years ago I was mountain biking at our local reservoir and a buck with lots of pointy things on its head crossed paths with me when I was on a steep downhill section.

I would imagine that once a car goes above a certain dollar amount in value......if it's damaged in a crash, it's always possible to restore it (even if it cost 300,000 dollars to repair-the car itself will still be worth a million bucks (if it's repaired correctly)
