The games themselves were fairly mediocre, so consider me less than hopeful.

@DrWhizgig
He matches my image of Edmure much more closely than Stannis, though he does look a good deal like the actor playing Renly.
Well, I'm not sure what year this mission was supposed to have taken place, but there was at least one more Saturn V launch after Apollo 17, the one that carried Skylab into orbit in 1973. Maybe that one had a secret cargo...
In the books the relationship is more consensual from the beginning. I guess they thought that would also be hard to buy when she's in an arranged marriage like this, but in the books Drogo was a lot more sensitive to her feelings on their wedding night.
That's a spoiler for well beyond this episode.
Bah, delete this. Stupid comment system.
I don't really remember Jon training anyone outside his group of friends. The reason
The books were better at this than the show, I kept having to explain to my friends that weeks are often passing between scenes, when it makes them feel like only a day or two apart.
I don't think it's an issue if non-readers don't understand that Ser Jorah is Lord Commander Mormont's son, iirc this wasn't clear to me in the books at that point either. It won't be important for a while.
He has been a bit flat so far. Aidan Gillen is a fantastic actor, so I don't really know why. Not bad, certainly, but not as commanding in the role as I expected.
I could see legislation being passed once the technology is fully mature, perhaps state by state, mandating self-driving cars, or at least absolving manufacturers of liability (in the absence of mechanical or software failure). If MADD and other powerful groups got involved, it could happen.
Then your children can ask you, 'Dad, are you space?', and you can answer 'Yes, now we are a family again.'
All of these except REM and Locke and Key seem pretty meh-some. And I'm interested in Locke and Key only because I keep hearing so much praise for it, I don't really know anything about it myself.
Wouldn't the last three projects involving a lot of BSG alumni (Bionic Woman, Caprica, and Virtuality) getting cancelled have already served as that wakeup call, if there was going to be one?
I have the misfortune of shipping Dany and Jon, while simultaneously holding the theory that
Interesting that you find the series to be boring, as you seem to already have the same opinions of the characters as die-hard fans: we generally hate Sansa (older Stark girl), at least at first, while Arya (older Stark girl), Jon Snow, and Tyrion (angry elf) are fan favorites.
I've got the British trade paperback editions of the first two Potter books, and they have pretty innocuous covers, just photos of trains.
It's not really the same. Firefly's system has lots of planets and moons, but presumably there aren't planets sharing an orbit, as the two Earths are here. You could easily have planets with orbits spaced only a few million miles apart without issue, and if some of those planets are giants, they could each have dozens…
