Of course, a “Mary Sue” means nothing outside of fanfiction. Rey’s not a Mary Sue because she’s not a wish-fulfillment stand in for the author in an established story.

Internet fanboys have convinced themselves that because they HATE the prequels with a fiery passion, that the entire world does. They also tend to vanish from the conversation when evidence of the contrary is presented.

Really? I thought this was one of the best episodes of the season. Capt. Lance was downright flawless in his performance tonight, from dealing with Sara to dealing with his relationship with Damien. Ollie’s scenes with Capt. Lance were also spot on. Thea was given some awesome moments that don’t involve her Pit-sanity…
