VA sucks so hard.

As a native of upstate New York, resident of North Carolina, and having relatives in both Pennsylvania and New York, I sometimes have to travel through the Commonwealth (not just a mere state, mind you) of Virginia.

It's all about money and nothing else in VA. Safety is a lie. I still haven't had a worse experience just driving than going through Virginia in terms of driving standards and lane discipline on the east coast. That includes Florida which is its own special hell.

My mother drove (for the first time in her life) my GT-R from Miami to Washington, DC, and was pulled over in Emporia, VA (a known speed trap) for 81 mph, and given a reckless driving ticket. The '78-88 911s are leaving the price range with a vengeance. You'd be hard pressed to find a clean, low mileage, rust-free running example for anything near what a 996 with more power and creature comfort can go for. I'm currently looking for vintage 911s, and prices are through the roof.
