I want to take a Stanza-gainst these pun threads, but I think it’s Altima-tly pointless.

That truck is clearly blinking.

I think it will start with something like HOV lanes, then special access roads, just a little nibble at a time.

Scion Scelica

Now I want to buy a GT86 and put Celica badges on it.

The point, smartass, is that the old Z was affordable for people with middling jobs, and the current one isn’t. The pony twins were crap-cans with big motors at the time. The pony cars are now in the same position, in base trim at least, that the Z used to occupy, while Nissan has abandoned that part of the market.

The Z would have been about $22k in today’s dollars, and unlike in 1970 a Mustang or Camaro can keep up with a Z in the corners.

Except we’re still flying F15s that were made 20-25 years before the F22 came out. It takes a long time to change over, especially when you don’t build enough of the new stuff to actually replace the old stuff.

I had a Datsun pickup with manual drums and it was terrifying. It probably weighed 800lbs less than your charger when new, 1000 less when I had it due to the rust, er, speed holes. I can’t even imagine what yours was like.

Why am I grey again?

Why I drive a slow car: I’d have crapped my pants in the first corner.

The studio wants you to buy their Spider-Man game, yes, but Sony want you to buy PS4 games, and they have the rights to Spider-Man games. Sony doesn’t care if you want the game on X-Box, and they don’t care if the studio loses sales that Sony would get a smaller slice of. They want you in their system, just like MS

If that’s the only game you would play on the PS4, they aren’t interested in your money. They make little to no money on the hardware, they want you to buy games. If you bought a PS4, played this, and bought nothing else, they might still lose money.

My whole job is getting engineers to make things easier for technicians, and explaining to technicians why the engineers had to do things that make make life more difficult for the techs. It would be a lot easier if I could get the engineers to leave their computers and actually see how big 0.0002" is in real life.

Like the Escort/Tracer the Topaz is worse.

No, the manager will get an “attaboy” for getting through it using only two employees.

There is no incentive for the employee to do anything other than the bare minimum. There is no over time, no raises, no bonuses, and no recognition even if you go above the bare minimum. There is only extra work. That’s why nearly everyone that can leaves food service.

That’s because when the employees work harder without making more money, you make more monye without working harder.

It’s food service not retail, and your job is to proviede a minimal barely polite ineraction and a bevarage. There is no incentive for the employee to do anything other than that.
