Wouldn’t the Bronco truck be the Ranger? Prediction it will be but with Bronco badging and 2x profit margin.

Sadly, the Maverick excitement PROVES Ford’s decision since they basically took the engineering headcount resources from the cars/hatches to design the truck. Freeing up engineering space allowed them to make this product. I’m begrudgingly admitting this as one who had money ready for the second gen Focus ST and is…
Your going to have to have a screen since the NHTSB made rear cameras a standard thing to have in vehicles by law I do believe.
even if 9 out of 10 drivers say Sike!
Got I hate that stupid Ford chime. “doo doo doo, doo doo doo”
I’m all over the place. I’ve been a happy station wagon owner for six years now, but leaning towards truck or truck-adjacent. I’ve been excited about all the Ford truck launches the past three years, from the relaunched Ranger in the US, the Bronco, the Lightning, and the Maverick.
To paraphrase an old joke: “apart from the Model 3, what has Musk ever done for humanity?”
What I find fascinating is that some people actually believe this will be made. It really is a full on cult at this point. How does anyone find this even remotely feasible? How does he go on stage and talk about it with a straight face?
Oh yeah? Like the million robo-taxis? Or the Tesla Roadster? Or the semi-truck? Or the Hyperloop? Level 4 self driving? Or the Gigafactory producing 1GW annually? Or the 1,200 km range to the Model S?
TBF the Cybertruck probably will/would have a shit ton of issues with regulations.
You were saying?
I'm laughing on the train and people are looking at me, thanks :P
This is so far beyond vaporware horseshit end of the spectrum it is laughable.
This dude is soooo unlikeable. Honestly I give him the benefit of the doubt because I think he’s altered the automobile industry, but he doesn’t give a shit about anyone, and never ever shuts his mouth.
Pretty much this.
The volt has OK reliability going by CR.
Give Hyundai’s Ioniq a try, I have one and it’s a hoot. Love it.
Well... you’re driving probably the most reliable car on the planet. I had a Prius at one point. I nervously made the switch to a Volt, my first “Murican” car. So far, 160,000 miles its been bulletproof. But Ford? Pretty sure its not going to be prius-level reliability
I’m sure people will just attach the chassis code to the name when they talk about it.
They left off an important figure: what does it WEIGH? The outgoing 370z is 3400+, I’m worried this is going to be up over 3500 with the twin turbo power plant, which will be a significant downside vs the Supra. Hopefully they managed to shave some weight from the chassis and I’m wrong, because it looks great and has…
