Not in my area.

I want to know, did the editor tell Dharna that this article was going to be cross posted on Jalopnik before she wrote it or after she submitted it.

Satch Carlson from Autoweek magazine.

I was thinking more of GM’s X Bodies, Pontiac Phoenix, Chevy Citation plus the Ford Granada. Those were all out when this LeBaron Convertible replaced that boxey K derivative with fake wood panels.

1978 to 1984.

52 here and I voted NP but I'm from Highland Park,  MI always liked the LeBaron.   Even the GTS 5 door. Way better looking than the boxes GM was selling at the time.

Depends. How much Nitro are you trying to move?

You can easily substitute the F-150 for Mustang or Miata or Caravan or Katana or Goldwing.

Iit's even more fun when pulling a tandem axle trailer downtown.  😆

I find it interesting that no one complains about the NVH in a sports car or convertible,  yet finds it unacceptable in a pickup.   Either way it's character.

Most pickup buyers complain about the lack of front sight as well. Check out TFL Truck, Pickup Truck & SUV Talk, All Terrain Nation and you will find the hosts and commenters criticize the overbearing size and lack of vision in pickup trucks.

So many different types.

Just betting the odds against the old Rover.  😉

Just read a reply over on YouTube (Either Doug or another site) where a European bemoaned the fact that the Maverick isn’t coming to them. He sees the Ranger everywhere but feels the Maverick fits him better.

Owen. Do the crazy thing.

The Ranger is for those that tow more or work more yet don’t want a F-150.

Ford is making a Bronco pickup in the future.  They don't want the Maverick to be in that family.   That's why it has a face similar to the F-150. Expect the same for the new Ranger.

You can always opt up to the 8 speed AWD version.

In my opinion, once they started putting computers into cars, you could never really fix them with duck tape and wire.

Yes!
