UPDATE: the car never ran! The footage you see was done by a Japanese company who shot it rolling down hills to trick those who did not know better. There work still shines till this day. There are no internals in that engine. It moved by potential energy...that's all.

Yes. It's the same car, before it was painted. I was in a red one at the Goodwood FoS. Same car.

Sorry for the dupe. Kinja fails mobile.

UPDATE: this article is wrong. There is one and only one Mantide. I know, I've been in it and documented the creation of it. The owner is Dan Watkins. He's a great guy and previous McLaren F1 owner. The car was initially red and was later painted pearl white. It was this painting that fooled people into thinking there

Back when I was even younger and even stupider....I "beat" cops as often as I filled the tank of my Z06. You can absolutely outrun the radio.

Price inflation is happening to them all. Over $400k for an Aventador. The entry level V8 Ferrari going for into the 300's. Even a base C7 optioned out to over $75k. There was an article on here about a 4 cylinder 3 series BMW optioned out to in the 70's. People thought a $100k Corvette was insane and wouldn't

This is honestly one of the best things I've ever seen. Thank you so much.

Yep. Not new.

Based on the previous corvettes i'd say we're looking at a 7:30 or just under from the C7. They have been testing it so I'm sure we'll see those numbers soon.

It's coming.

And was that a trap of 76mph??? Crazy gearing.

No.

You're right. Not every single detail is wrong. The back actually looks pretty good. Also with the Scud they made some serious styling improvements. That said, I haven't loved a V8 Ferrari since the Challenge Stradale.

...

ahh...I should have figured! :)

Yes, it should be "the ugly and wrong-in-every-single-possible-way body of the Ferrari F430."

ahem ..
