"We'd take the Ritz Carlton if only because it gives you the chance to get fucked in a hotel room and not just at the dealership."

That's my vote. More specifically, it's a 2004-5 model with the turn signal repeaters in the side mirrors and not on the fender as in this picture.

Mazda did it in the RX-8 in 2004, so it's a nearly 10-year-old fad.

There is a suspicious co-driver by the name of "Oliver" currently running in the Baja 1000: he's riding in Baja Challenge class car #5.

You handled that well. I'm afraid I would have stuffed the phone down his throat. :)

Talk about a flashback! I worked for Toyota's R&D department at the time so got to both work on and drive these cars around the LA area. There were about a half-dozen cars put into service with the CHP and LA County Sherriffs (one was on Catalina Island of all places.) They were all V6 cars, with ES250 gearboxes

So, in other words, just like any other work day?

"And then, like in most Porsche projects, it's time for the big hammer..."

Better hide that stuff quickly before his insurance adjuster sees it...

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a winner.

Since when did owning and driving a car become a "right?"

No. Just build your same vehicle bigger (and add some ground clearance so you can call it a "truck") and the target gets easier.
