Once you find yourself a reasonable planet(with a good non-toxic/radioactive biome) you can start picking up the language. Once you get into the language, you can understand the races intentions* a little bit better. Most you won’t understand for a while, but there are a few that speak human.

Nah, GKIDS tends to include both sets.
Captions for the dub as well as subtitles for the original language.

Maybe they’ll be able to coordinate better marketing for some of their distributed titles.

My problem with the menus in SMG 2 was the complete dump of all the character from the level design. If they went mid-way then it might not have seemed as painful.
