Apparently they patch to the cart with rudimentary data to the system for the launch icon. Unless you got the digital version of course.

They have it at the same price with cheaper parts so they can sell it occasionally down the road at a better price.

Could personally care less about SquareEnix, they've been a bit overrated(IMO) for a long while.

For the most part they already are. Outside of a few systems almost all gaming hardware today is usually set day one to be able to run in most languages.

Oh boy did they deny it, even trying to say it was most likely a consumers fault.
