That was my first thought as well. Only "Europe" instead of "UK" :P
Been trying to get in the beta since they launched it. Still nothing.
Wow, this was unexpected. As much as I liked the first one, albeit slightly confusing, I seriously didn't have any hopes for a sequel. I guess the console release helped on the money side of things, because I don't remember this game getting any more buzz around it besides ""them gamez be weird!".
Most Wanted was by far my favorite NFS game. Even now, I have yet to play another game of that series that provided the same rush as that one. Some my not have liked the free roam and cop chases mechanic, but for me at least, it was a blast.
The band-aid on the back of his head was a nice touch. You know, besides all of the nun hotness and such.
My initial mistake was that I watched a couple of videos where it mentioned that it was the free version, but upon comparing to other users, I saw that what I watched wasn't the game running on full blast. As in, probably with the lowest possible graphical options turned on. Because the full version, maxed out, looks…
Damn, thank you Edward! As soon as I get some free time, I'll surely check this out.
Still a bit to much for my wallet, given that at this point I'm almost solely interested in this mod :S
I'm not "one of those", as one could put it, only looking at graphics and all that jazz and dismissing everything else. It's just that for a game where I am supposed to explore and be immersed by the surroundings and its details, not only gameplay mechanics, the free version looked to flat for my taste.
For those who have bought this game, explain me this:
Yes, true. But at least with games such as inFamous, it has a sense of style of its own, present on all of its departments, even if borrowing traits from others (wish is unavoidable), and that's what I find strange when it comes to MMOs and the level of sameness we often find.
Not talking about this game in particular, but I don't get why it seems that there are a so many great artists working on MMOs that then end up looking like every other MMO. Is it just a publicity stunt?
Shame they didn't work in more characters or background elements instead of more lettering, but still, kudos!
Wow, a reply from one of the developers? That's probably a first for me around here!
I remember playing this way back when it was an IGF game. It looked mighty impressive graphically when I first saw it, and it still does. Just hope that the gameplay is a bit more refined, because it was a bit lacking.
I'm doin' more than dandy now :)
It's funny that upon reading these posts, I could draw a solid comparison with my own experience of having a beard pretty much all the time. As with my hair, I never let it grow to much, otherwise it starts getting uncomfortable, and for some reason it feels kind of right to have something on my face other then…
I don't think I'll ever understand why people like having such long nails. Besides using them as awesome canvases, wish rarely happens, it just looks uncomfortable and unpractical.
