Yup, loved it.
Yup, loved it.
Let's not forget Bertha - Rochester's first wife, the woman in the attic.
I do too, and every time I correct myself... and then go back to my original thought because that would be effing awesome.
My friends keep playing it at parties for other friends who haven't seen it, so I've heard it SO MANY TIMES now. The next person who tries to play this song is getting a knuckle sandwich.
I just watched the first movie and was amazed at the amount of ust between the two leads. It's like all they do is pose and posture and preen, and then go overhaul an engine and get all dirty so that they can pose and posture and preen covered in motor oil. Not that I'm, you know, complaining or anything.
Not quite sure how far Space X has come, but I'd say there's a good chance that space travel is going to go private, at least here in the U.S.: [www.spacex.com]
Was the 6pm timeslot unusually early for Who's Easter special, or normal?
I could be wrong, I was operating unfamiliar equipment...
The BBC version was 60 minutes without commercials. American TV cut the show to fit in commercials.
... Doesn't the BBC have a show called Merlin? Why does the U.S. have to redo something that is currently airing... and doing quite well, might I add. It's like Merlin, just from Arthur's p.o.v. And with more hair. Ugh.
I'm pretty anal about reading series' in order, even if they're episodic and don't need to be read in order. If the series isn't clearly numbered then I have to spend a lot of time at the chronically understaffed Barnes & Nobles' help desk waiting for a woefully overwhelmed staff member to figure out which book I need…
Redacted.
I would add Phedre (and friends) from Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series.
omg, where are the hearts? I need to heart you, so bad.
C'mon cat lovers: the winner of the kitty throwdown will face Corgi or Dachsund in the final, and I don't think Tuxedo is in it to win it. Vote Hobbes!
I am waiting for someone to tell me that it's a joke. Or something.
The best teachers think this about their students. A pack of six year old kids cooped up in a room together is stressful for the teacher; it's not like parenting or babysitting, it's (mostly) controlled chaos. I don't blame the teacher for feeling like her students are future delinquents; she probably had a rough day.…
io9 covers science. Drug breakthrough=science. And, obviously, of interest to some of the people who read this blog.
Are there any other female leaders/leads in zombie/other apocalypse movies? A woman who doesn't get rescued by a dude? Aside from Alice? I'm coming up blank...
I actually really like Rory. He tempers the relationship between Amy and the Doctor. And from a story standpoint, he's probably the only thing keeping the Amy/Doctor relationship PG. And I like my Doctor unattached.
