So..... as someone who hasn’t really played since launch and was not going to pay an extra $60 or so on a season pass for content that should have been in the base game (At launch the game basically felt incomplete), should I come back?

Not quite, I’ve played Magic the Gathering and never felt like my investment was being shit on by WotC. You don’t see them going back and nerfing cards. They just create cards that can counter or adapt the meta (Heck alot of the newer cards are weaker than their older counterparts, hello Legacy!).
I hadn’t played Hearthstone for quite a while so decided to boot it up again last night and give it a try. Played through the welcome back stuff without a hitch and even completed one of the challenges in Blackrock with my old decks. Feeling pretty happy I decided to give the multiplayer a try again thinking my decks…
Just in case someone reading this hasn’t played To The Moon yet, You go play it right now and just make sure you have a box of tissues nearby. The runtime is about 4 hours so If you can play it in 1 sitting it’s definitely worth it.

I would actually love to find out how developers keep yearly scheduled games going on time. Games like FIFA and Madden are beholden to that one year development time and its noticeable as they are more treated like a yearly update with a few new features but its a sports game so the core stuff doesnt change all that…
