I know a few people who bought the PC version of the game after playing the ps3 version and they did get an extra 30 days of time for buying the game a 2nd time.

I wouldn't worry too much Mike about your own leveling pace. This game just has an abnormally slow leveling speed. Takes forever to get to level 10.

I can't separate the memory of Cassettes tapes without mentioning Shenmue. Damn those little things were awesome to find and then play sometimes all day long.

I wouldn't worry about 3 or 4. There largely different games due to the move to 3d.

Leveling to 30 is a fun enough experience in itself and can be largely done solo (maybe one or two it helps to have a friend help you). I never got into the endgame but playing with the different heroes and such was fun.

Alright, not going to lie. That was pretty badass. Definitely on my movie watch radar now.
