That's not a totally fair comparison since the Playstation Eye is a glorified Webcam without anything else. You'd have to add at least a move controller (and a navi controller) for it to be a more fair comparison which then the cost realigns a little closer.

I can echo this sentiment when I was a kid. There was no greater thing than the official PlayStation magazine that came with a bunch of new demos every month for 5 pounds. Was gaming on the cheap since i couldn't actually afford any games really and had to beg my parents for anything I really wanted.

Alot of people also don't understand that they've had cameras in the gadgets for years. Your phone, computer and yes your current gen consoles have had them. The panic over that kind of stuff I find is just silly.

That is something to bring up actually. Where are the mmo's? Its one of the PC's core genres. I'd argue that WoW is a bit out of touch now and could probably advise something like guild wars 2 especially for newcomers to pc more but really I think some sort of MMO should be on this list.
