What exactly are you referring to? If you mean that the feds are "getting in the way" of positive environmental reform by implementing rigorous safety regulations, so be it. Safety of a vehicle created by a bootstrapped startup can be suspect, so I'm all for strict safety testing. But can we get rid of those damn…
C'mon, the library was packed and all he wanted to do was watch porn.
The irony is that some Nats fans are so aggressively into the game, they've started a movement to kill the wave .... http://www.wtop.com/41/3283746/Kil…
But Camden Yards is so much better. . .
It won't happen. Car dreamers ALWAYS underestimate one, minor thing. US Safety regulations and crash testing . . . this one small thing usually costs around $300 MILLION, and that's IF everything goes perfectly. Hence the reason why most startup car companies don't ever make it this far, let alone big…
I'm grateful that you pointed out in HUGE text that elements of this car are fake, so that if my friend is ever like "yea that thing has 900 hp" I can say "NOT 900 HP FOOL". . . And I think it's sad that PR people can be so blatantly ignorant to your face.
So let me get this straight. . . GM makes an experimental car that is novel but a hard sell for many reasons, and it doesn't sell as well as they predicted. So they BUILD MORE?? There are 9,000 unsold volts. What a waste, of everything.
I disagree, I think the Corolla turned out great.
The Volt Concept is hideous IMO, looks like 3 different cars combined.
God I hate it when passengers don't shut their doors. . .
I get paid to work too. But when I am done working, I can do whatever the hell I want. No one works 24 hours.
So it's Giovanni's Giovanni's Famous Shrimp?
I drive an '00 Civic. It is not fast. It is not flashy. It is barely comfortable and it's old. But it gets incredible gas mileage, costs very little to maintain, and will last another 100k miles at the least.
PUSSY Jk it is very annoying.
Awesome. I still don't like the car, as badly as I want to, it's just wrapped in such a gawdy package. I'll take this any day - http://skfb.ly/5lk4ih0
Here's what the government gets wrong that the VC industry nails - you don't invest in products, you invest in the people behind them. . .
How about the fact that Nissan has state-0f-the-art factories in the US producing cars like the Leaf state-side?
Having a CEO 'who's controversial, vocal, and social marketing strategy builds awareness' doesn't make the technical challenges any easier to solve.
Elon is speaking to an audience regarding the Leaf vs. Tesla Gen 3. I didn't like the Leaf when I drove it. I fell in love with the Model S. Obviously not competing models, but expect the same from the Gen 3 when it comes out, it will appeal towards a more broad range of auto-buyers and enthusiasts (and it will be…
