You can absolutely see why they didn't go with it for the movie though. Colour like that would've drawn attention away from the A-listers in the team, which isn't what you want to do if you're introducing new characters (let's forget his appearance in Thor for a moment).

They gave him the same colour scheme as Black

You can totally tell which bits are in-engine, what are you talking about? The gap hasn't closed at all, we're still far from that!

Yes, it looks great, but the next-gen consoles are nowhere near powerful enough to render this in real-time.

What are you talking about? Resogun's amazing! I've put hours into that game. I've platinumed it!

I strongly suspect that even if No Man's Sky is toast, it will get its funding from both gamers and industry figures alike for its impressive showing at the VGX.

Failing that, I'm sure it's inspired many developers to try similar ideas too.

To be fair, both COD and Battlefield are sickeningly 'American' - and I mean that as in gruff, good-looking soldiers yelling yee-ha and blowing shit up in foreign countries to protect freedoms or some other excuse.

Nobody outside the US cares. I'm pretty sure many within the US are of the same opinion. Those games are

I don't give a fuck about any of those games.

Most of them are just sequels to ancient franchises, too.

Dr.Luigi? Really? You're trying to sell the merits of a system through Dr. Luigi? XD

X doesn't even look that good! I don't understand why it's getting so much hype, other than the fact that Nintendo are actually

No. No I'm not! :D

Who says SOMA is set in space? I had the impression that it was set inside a giant A.I. computer like in that short story with the long title....I forget what it's called, but I'm pretty sure 'scream' or 'screaming' is somewhere in there.

Well, yeah. But I was referring more to the focus on realism and the fact that the magic and fantastical elements only slowly start to creep in, where as it starts off more of less as a fictitious historical drama!

So it's targeting Game of Thrones fans, basically?

I'm sold!

"The last one felt like Jurassic Park. This one seems like Cloverfield."

Excellent comment. And I hope it's true, personally.

Polygon is absolutely terrible.

I can think of one instance in which he's wrong.

But surely there are copyright issues what with this being an Xbox One exclusive and Link being owned by Nintendo, a rival company?

Link...on a Forza car. Somebody explain?

This sort of shit should only appear in Free-to-Play games.

The most annoying UI element in Assassin's Creed is, for me, the highlighting of enemies that you're locked on to. It takes too much of their visual aesthetic away and turns them into what essentially looks like a ghost-type thing. And that's all you ever kill as a result.

I had to reset my password the other day because it had literally disappeared from the sign-in bar despite me having it ticked to stay there.
