It’s the details like the bad vignetting effects that just really sell it for me.

Wait, is the AV Club transitioning to Kinja?
I couldn’t watch the stream. Is Ancel still the lead?
me, five minutes ago: this is a cynical piece of trash made to revive the Rabbids brand because of Minions and I can’t believe my Mario boys are being thrown in with them
There’s also this:
Was talking about this with someone last night. Feels an extra bummer to me, too, since You’re Next and The Guest are the kind of tight, mid-budget genre fare that we don’t see much of anymore. Obviously, there’s the ideal “Nolan model” of him getting to do a blockbuster and then cash a blank check, but it doesn’t…
Do you think they’ll just avoid the question altogether or outright explain him as human? I agree with Ford, but I thought Scott had made it (overly) explicit by the Final Cut.
Opening of the franchise Wikipedia entry.
Sometimes I genuinely love Twitter.
I feel like Charlie Hunnam became good overnight, and my brain can’t handle it.
My guess: Deckard is a Nexus 6 and thus capable of living much longer than the others. Leto is unable to figure out how to do this because reasons and is thus after him. He probably hires K initially, who then goes after Deckard for his own reasons. Also K is a Replicant (and that looks like him jumping through the…

It really takes its time moving through future LA and making it feel lived-in, rather than just a movie set to blow up.
I haven’t gotten to watch the show yet, but are they adapting the book in a single season and spinning off to something new or trying to stretch the book’s plot out over multiple seasons?
Very much looking forward to this.
Man, I hadn’t watched this in a minute. So good.
IMHO it looks like another feature that the PS4 has that the Xbon3rs don’t!!!
Honestly, I would’ve been OK with Luke showing up (with some slight reworking of the script) since the Luke fetch-quest was basically resolved only because R2 decided to boot back up.
There’s basically a small but emotionally painful drama that could be told in the story of a man who lost his daughter and grandson in the same night—and the later in a way that he can’t even explain sensibly to others—and how he grapples with a loss of that magnitude in his twilight years, feeling like the family he…
