Could use a redesign imo
This is actually an incredibly accurate critique of BIG.
Red Dead Rebellion
As to your last point: no, not really. I feel like the Dual World concept is a Nintendo staple at this point (particularly within Zelda). When I first played MP2, I remember thinking it was a copy of the idea from A Link to the Past.
It’s not exactly the color that makes it look that way to me. The way lighting diffuses on the right look artificial. Just curious how CGI heavy they’ll end up going with him.
Besides the obvious “they would just get fucking killed” explanation, the eagles in Lord of the Rings are their own race and thus susceptible to the draw of the One Ring as well.
Is Spider-man CG there or is it just something with the lighting?
In the comics, where Marvel also has a single cohesive universe (more or less), it’s simpler.
I had never played New Vegas, so I recently started it and modded it some (am still working on it). It looks nice, though!

There’s a whole lot to unpack in here, but this part in particular
I wonder how much more I would like the trailer nearly as-is if they had just set it to the original theme. They could have kept out the whole “30 years ago” stuff and just left the song as the nostalgia bait, and I probably would have been on board. It’s just a joyous tune.
The trailer definitely didn’t feature enough of McKinnon.
Spy, in particular, was horribly undersold by its trailers.
It sure is a Spirit Track! Ha ha!
PLEASE start with Roland already in possession of the Horn of Eld. This is all I want.
It’s funny because it’s supposed to be this weird, humanizing denouement that catches you off guard because the Bride and Bill are finally face to face, but I was mostly like “No. He’s wrong. Kill him.”
In the DC Cinematic Universe, Clark is actually a real estate reporter, so this destruction is the only thing really putting the stories out there in this economy.
I did think it was pretty ballsy that he made the “shot by cops” joke, at least (the transcript above doesn’t have it, but he definitely said it).
