Now I wanna make an Audi commercial.
Now I wanna make an Audi commercial.
That is the worst example of drafting I’ve ever seen.
By “surface streets” I mean non-freeway/highway streets...the kind that have signal lights and stop signs at semi regular intervals, and speeds seldom exceed 50mph...
I think the first generation Volts are better than the second generation. Although the second generation Volt lists a higher range, it’s mainly due to reprogramming the existing battery system to operate nearer to operating limits rather than increasing actual capacity...I think this’ll cost owners in the long run…
It’s a comfortable car with tighter feel/handling/responsiveness over the Prius. Mine’s a late ‘14 model. The ‘15 model will give you slightly more range due to battery material improvements, and now’s the time to get ‘em because these two model years are now coming off their initial leases...there are bargains to be…
Solar panels on the roof + used Chevy Volt = IDGAF I drive for free.
My daily commute is less than 40 miles on surface streets. I’m getting better range per charge than the advertised 42 miles/charge, too...my actual range per charge is nearly 60 miles. I haven’t put gas in this thing since the first time I filled up…
This is masculine heresy.
This is masculine heresy.
They enter the highway and go directly across three lanes of traffic from the on-ramp to the passing lane...
...where they then cruise at or below the speed of everyone around them, preventing passing by everyone behind them. Left lane campers are the worst.
My guess is that those speeders aren’t kicking up dust, but instead are kicking up mist. I’m going to venture a guess that they are flying over a frozen surface, and are cutting through it/breaking up that frozen surface in an attempt to deny the walkers a stable surface to walk on.
Either that, or they’re scooping up…
$15k for a liftback replacement for a single piece of glass? Uh, no.
The MOAB is an air bursting bomb. Why use an air burst bomb to destroy underground tunnel and cave complex? The MOAB isn’t an underground penetration type ordinance bomb, right?
What a silly way to lower a car.
Gawdammit, be smart with that money! Do you want an immediate payoff with a flash in the pan ride that you won’t cherish for many years, or do you want to retire in comfort?
My advice is to buy a very reliable used car, nothing fancy. We’re talking used Camry, Lexus LS400, etc in decent condition for a couple thou and…
You left out cruise ship, depart LA —> Panama Canal —> NYC
Let’s jack up the price and comfort level by booking a sleeper cabin.
I installed that ice cream truck music thingy on one of my cars, specifically for use during track days. It’s made for many laughs at Laguna Seca, and generally makes it easier to get point-by’s..... “dammit, that ice cream truck car is behind me again” :::points by:::
I prefer simpler, less optioned cars with as few electronics as possible because I have a totally rational fear that everything is made like crap and it’ll all stop working as soon as the warranty expires. I prefer manual crank windows, manual steering, manual transmissions, and all the other Luddite things in a car…
It’s “fun” and will fit all of your spawn, grubs, and larval units. All while still having plenty of room to haul all that day outing luggage.
