That particular parking lot is near my home, and I’ve done...ahem...*practical experiments* in cars with quicker acceleration capabilities than the Delorean in question. Not doable.

It’s not all bad news...thank goodness for SB100. I was able to register this car in CA, and it was even smog EXEMPT. Coincidently, the state of Texas is too scared of ‘em, and won’t allow them on their roads, where all Atoms have had their registrations revoked. Texas, of all places. It’s appalling.
Having owned and driven these, I’ll qualify:
Again, Kansas leads the way to show the rest of the US how to properly stimulate the economy.
Just about the perfect NSX for me...if I were to buy an NSX. Alas, I cannot, so I’ll just be super jealous of the buyer.
Pricing is in Lira...
My big brother had one of these for his first car. Like an idiot, he wrecked it. Like a clown, he wrecked it with five of his friends also packed into the car. Rolled it six times down a hill, totalling it. Not one of them were hurt because they were so tightly packed that they didn’t get knocked around much.
You have to watch it.
This is obviously a way for CA to intercept money from those who try to use the blackmarket “smog hookup”, putting money that would otherwise go to black market smog techs into the state’s coffers. I have no problem with this, and would encourage this measure, as there would be other benefits brought into play by this…
The only kind of tech I want in my car is the kind that will never go obsolete...which usually means only the bare minimum to make the car run reliably forever (like an ECU). All the doodads and infotainment crap—leave it out.
