Saying that humans will simply adapt is like saying that everyone on a crashing plane doesn't need a parachute because your all going to end up on the ground anyway. SOME people, those with resources, connections, and a little foresight to prepare can survive, at least in the short term of a few generations at most.

It probably doesn't exist outside custom/specialty projects, but I hope there is a desk out there that is a corner desk, and functionally can have PC parts loosely (or not require a tower or other case) placed inside and be affordable

Fair enough. Thank you for answering.

My question to Dr. Nerdlove is why hasn't he had a new podcast since late 2012?

Oh, word of warning, The Last Starfighter is HARD! Not only do you have a 360 degree sphere of movement (it's still a rail shooter of sorts), but you have to fine tune the reticle at the same time. You probably would be a great starpilot if you mastered this game.

Funny thing is, Rogue Synapse has made their best PLAYABLE approximation of both Space Paranoids and the Last Starfighter. Google them and download them for free!

How long after release do you think until someone makes a semi-total conversion mod that plays like regular Civ on 'Earth', then after you win, it continues into Beyond? Space Romans!

This is not in defense of Disney, but with the exception of the Lion King and Atlantis, the other movies listed were based on other source material. While I cannot say with any certainty, I think we have a Professor Chaos situation here, where Japan, whether coincidentally or not, adapted the same or similar source

White outfit almost had me thinking it was Assassin's Creed themed, but no beaked hood that I can see. Does make me wonder if there will be an easter egg where you can hack into an Abstergo office and get teasers to AC5

This is like something I read about in Metatropolis, where ARMMOs dominate and the real world is used as the structure the fictional world overlays. This has potential of making exercise fun, assuming you can work out the potential for dynamic hazards (e.g. cars). I can see technology like this being paired with a

I played EVE for the first 3 years after it launched, riding with Taggart Transdimensional, Inc. (TTI). I got burned out after I realized that it was a simulation, not a game, and that Massively Multiplayer Simulation was a JOB, and I wasn't going to pay $15 a month to go to work.

If Sword Art Online is any indication, we'll have 'full dive rigs' by 2024. But seriously, if the techonlogy of SAO comes to pass, it would revolutionize how people work, live, and interact. If you can accurately simulate all senses in a virtual environment, you could do everything except cook, eat, wash and sleep

In defense of the fact that the source material is hentai, in Japan, well known anime director's have made hentai films in order to get their story concept/art style out into the world because they are required to by the studio that produced it. For example, Tenchi franchise creator Masaki Kajishima directed the

King Triton = Bill Clinton

After I put down Sam, I called my own dog, and hugged him for about 5 minutes before continuing the game.

I'd settle for actually being able to play the game, but I can't get past the login screen. I bought the Gamefly deal referred by Kotaku, expecting a Steam Key and ended up with a Telltalegames.com Key. Now when I enter my Telltale login info, I get an error that I can't communicate with the TTG servers. ANyone else

Isn't this just someone imitating Remi Gaillard?

Not mentioned in this article but noted in others, Mr. Couch was arrested for drunk driving in a previous incident, and he had a naked 14 year old girl in the back seat.
