These two characters put their lives in each other’s hands on a daily basis, if I was Han in that position I’d like to think I would trust my partner claiming he was literally fighting alongside the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy.

Even when the story is 100% in his control he can’t help but screw things like this up though. Think about how Chewbacca never once contradicts Han about the Force being fake, despite Chewie serving in the Clone Wars as a close associate of Yoda, even helping him survive Order 66.
