What's more likely is that Sony's big "easier to develop for" push is working. Developers are scrabbling to get their games ready, which is why you have so many games performing at different standards. The gap between the PS4 and XBO isn't as wide as people think.

I'll say one thing at least they're trying to innovate and not just dumping what they started (The Move). Everyone else seems content with a better graphics card and a pretty controller.

I have a very capable PC, and i plan to buy Titanfall for for XBO because i want to play with my brother and friends.

Even if it's not that big of a disappointment, the fact that a Next-gen game is trying to compete with a current-gen one speaks volumes of the scope, scale and ambition of GTA V.
