This is true. Also true: DC makes comic books - not TV shows or movies.

This might turn out to be crazy, good fun.

80 years publishing comic books / nearly 100 years making movies, and they're not smart.

There's no question about that. However, I don't think WB suits particularly care what DC staff thinks. If WB actually let someone like Kevin Feige run the comic book movies (A guy who A) Loved the DC Universe and actually knew a lot about the DC Universe and B) Knew how to make movies) then this would be a whole

This is true, but I wasn't putting the blame on Marvel for that. I was just pointing out that Norton's Hulk was better. Marvel Ent. did negotiate the production of those movies to those studios though... I wish they'd have kept them.

It's not like Marvel Studios has a perfect track record. While they may not have come directly out of their studio, they negotiated the eventual production of the FF movies, Daredevil, Elektra... And they did release The Incredible Hulk, the same year Iron Man came out. If Marvel has made any mistake it's parceling

Real tough, aincha?

Funny, considering the fact that, while a flop, it was far superior to Bana's HULK. But I'm willing to bet Marvel can still pull Ant-Man off. They've got their shit figured out.

The only person laboring here is you. Nowhere did I suggest DC exists outside of Warner. There is a division of labor - DC makes comics for Warner, Warner Bros. Studios makes movies and TV based on the comics books and characters that Warner owns through DC.

And you're delusional if you think Warner micromanages the production and publication of comic books by their comic book producing subsidiary. Comics don't make money, at least not enough for WB to give a rat fart about it. Movies do and WB suits make those decisions - not DC.

Amazing... Warner does own DC. DC, however, DOES NOT make movies or movie decisions. Nor television. DC makes comic books. They don't cast movies. They don't produce movies - PERIOD.

Yeah, I'm not sure you understand the comic book publisher vs movie studio dynamic. DC writes, draws and prints funny books. Warner Bros. makes movies, many of which are based on DC's comic books. DC certainly has some influence, but it's a subsidiary of a major corporation (Warner) whose primary business is movies

REALLY getting tired of DC (a comic book publisher) getting the "blame" for Warner Bros. (A movie and entertainment empire) and their decisions. If DC was given creative control, this wouldn't be an issue - at ALL.

No, you won't. No matter how good it is, you'll hang your hat of hate on something, and then go jack off to a supercut of Stan Lee's movie cameos.

I literally just posted this in the standalone movie topic. This was my idea I posted on the force.net boards about this show.

This was an idea that I posted on the force.net boards years ago. It was for the live action TV show.

Okay but where can I buy some of these leftover goodies?

Nothing fancy here. All kept in a drawer in my sink cabinet. From left to right: Kutmaster multitool, Kershaw mini assisted opener, a really old Buck, Schrade Old Timer, a newer Buck, Gerber, SOG and my Grampa's Big Chief folder from his tackle box. He cut bait and steak with it. I've got 4 or 5 knives in each

If most people hadn't already figured this out... I dunno.

Gwendoline will be playing the half wookie love child of Han and Mallatobuck.
