Oh I am serious. People refused to believe a 500km trip was part of my routine. Flat up accused me of lying. What can I say, Canada is a big country. Its in my history here...I’m not entirely sure I can easily find it though.

Just over 10 years ago, my parents-in-law won a raffle for a 1 ton truck and a fifth wheel RV. Because of this, I inherited their old fifth wheel, and through that bought a 3/4 truck. I didn’t have enough for a diesel so got a 6.2l V8 Silverado 2500 HD.

With a brother and a brother in law (both middle class folks with decent jobs, not the stereotypes of drug abusers) dead to the opioid crisis we’ve had to talk about it with our kids from a young age. Its about the use of public space for personal gain. Its a shared resource, we should use it considerately.
