The I6 is a very nice, and much cheaper, car. So I don’t think that’s happening any time soon. A lot of us are skeptical on EVs, and even more of us could never afford a 3 row EV SUV ...not at current prices. 

Having got to test one myself, I can add the launch is better in Sport/hybrid mode than in EV-only mode.

We got to drive both this and the Inline 6 over the weekend at a Mazda event. What fun! Its a very unexpected driving characteristic, I expect mostly due to how they moved the wheels so far out to the corners.
