Well, one of those is a word. The other is not.

...they make GameCube disc sized jewel cases???

Obligatory pedantic comment that only early Wii’s had Gamecube compatibility. It was stripped out of later consoles.

I never said I didn’t like it. I was just trying to derive a generalization that you really can’t hold Doctor Who - any Doctor Who - to the rigorous standards that are the basis of so much complaining here. All Who is “bad Who”, all who is “good Who”, well from a certain kind of perspective.

The core ideas of Caves

So between these first two episodes I decided to watch some Classic Who for basically the first time - I used the list published here and picked the story at #1, the Caves of Androzani. It reminded me that, to a certain extent, Doctor Who is immune to criticism. Being bonkers, nonsensical, poorly acted, over the top,

Well now that the Doctor did what he did to close this episode, Mercy is part of their vocabulary. *hand waving* QED

Yes he did. Just the British call them “dodgems”.

Well thats great and all but PG-13 at under 5? That’s ... something....I guess ...well I guess you’re putting the PG in PG-13 (as I recall first cuts of Avengers were an R...).

...you are showing 4 year olds MCU films?

Holy shit I did not know that. How awesome.

It is pretty bizarre that you made a list of 5 games to play and landed on *two* CMON titles. Obviously you like chrome.

No, I get that you are correct. And all my consternation rounds up to “blame the victim/she deserved it”. But I think we can all learn a lesson here.

I guess I want to know more about how she presented as a man. I'm inferring a lot of it went by omission rather than deception. Or at least that's possible, and my curiosities all come from that line of thinking.

Lets spin a scenario on the other side. Post op mtf. Does she need to disclose her status to heterosexual men? It looks like a vagina and fucks like a vagina but is it a vagina? Is it transphobic to suggest it's not a vagina? Is it transphobic to want to know (I'd go there, but want to know. Many would not want to go

I didn’t say that. I didn’t say that at all.

I wasn't there. I don't know if Kye was asked, and confirmed, the presence of a penis.

Well sorry to have grossed you out. But I think it’s the obligation of the blindfold wearer to visually confirm everything they need their partner to be before putting on the blindfold. I would expect the top here never actually *said* she was a man, or had a penis. Unless I missed something in the original text...

I think rape and transphobia are definitely things to think about here.

I think the recent emergence of IMAX blockbuster releases is an entirely different kind of aspect ratio dynamic than when a director is deliberately manipulating the ratio for the narrative. IMAX equipment forces the shot footage to be 1.43:1 or 1.9:1. I guess the director has some say in how this actually gets used
