The Cat7 standard hasn't been ratified yet. Anyone selling Cat7 cables is employing questionable marketing at best. Cat6a has been ratified and is supposed to support 10 Gigabit speeds over the entire circuit. For the average home user, a good quality Cat5e cable is going to provide all the speed you will need. The

I haven't heard of that one - is it still in Beta? Can I get an invite?

Are people still using social networks? I still browse through, but it seems like all I see are cat pics and animated gifs.

Just use plain unsweetened, unflavored yogurt - the two should be almost exactly interchangeable.

I second this - avocado provides healthy fats, and I find it a surprisingly good substitute for mayo on my sandwiches.

There is definitely talent in photography, I'm not trying to say there isn't. However, there is a school of thought that "Real photographers don't post" which is pure and utter bunk. All you are doing during post-processing is overcoming the inherent limitation of the media by adjusting the image to both record the

Photoshop has everything to do with photography. Camera sensors (or even film) are very limited in what they can capture. Post-processing has always been the difference between photography and snapshots. That's why I'm left with a hard drive full of thousands of snapshots, because I never take the time to process them.

I transitioned to Feedly when Google announced they were shuttering iGoogle, and I've been happy I did.

The current version of Acrobat Reader allows you to draw your signature with the mouse and then place it anywhere on the document.

Rofl - I'll grant you that, for other posts. This one deserves the flaming imho. Now, GET OFF MY LAWN! :)

When an author for Lifehacker merely re-posts a Macy's add and tries to pass it off as an article, they deserve all the flaming they get. Sorry @Whitson Gordon, but you set yourself up for this! Oh and @thelibrarianne, yes, the chart is implying that all these other gadgets can (and by inference, should) be replaced

lol - I think you missed my point. I was saying *you* were trolling him. The point people in this comment thread are trying to make is that lower fat does not mean healthier. In fact, contrary to popular misconception, lower fat is actually worse for you in most cases. There are many cases, peanut butter being one of

I can't see that this would be a good idea. https://www.siemon.com/uk/white_papers/06-05-01-magnets.asp indicates that the interference from a permanent magnet would be minimal, however if there is any chance for the wire to be moved, I'd think you would get a spike in interference. I'd rather deal with unorganized

I use cast iron skillets almost exclusively. In response to all the comments that soap does not damage the seasoning, I have to agree. It is possible to clean cast iron with soap and have (virtually) no adverse effect. However, this method prevents new layers being added with each use, and it is incredibly easy to

I understand that these are reader nominations, however it seems that it would have been a more accurate or complete list to count based on the camera family and not the model number, i.e, how many nominations for the Canon EOS line, the Nikon Dx00 line, etc. I really do think it is unfortunate that no Sony model made

I have to disagree with your low-light argument. Low light performance is at least as much a function of your camera's sensor (the digital "film") as it is of the lens you have attached. The same lens on different bodies is going to produce greatly different effects based on sensor performance. You have a point in

I've been happy with my Sony Alpha 100, but I'm very impressed by the Sony SLT-A35.

You are correct. Starting from a corner does not in any way guarantee a win, just affords a slight tactical advantage.
