That entire last paragraph. I’m totally not crying at my desk right now.

Because a patients state of mind greatly impact health care, which also extends to the families. A patient who is cared for in a manner consistent with their beliefs will generally see improved recovery time, feel less pain, etc. The opposite is also true. Treating someone in a manner that goes against their beliefs

If he does vote no, it truly makes no sense because it will fuck Arizona. The medical field is booming and bringing good jobs and stimulating the economy.

Jujy, I am buggin’ because I just heard on the the TV that Trump is actively planning to unload Jeff Sessions, and then make a “recess appointment” that bypasses the confirmation process, and will allow him to bring in someone who will be willing to fire Robert Mueller. As far as I can tell, this means that Trump can

I am very, very concerned that you are right. Especially if McCain makes a kind of “deathbed plea” to take the health insurance from 20 million Americans. The Republicans have until he reconciliation deadline, September 30th, to wiggle this thing through. They can keep building and rebuilding this Frankenstein’s

This is your legacy, McCAin. Your final great work. Thousands dead and millions suffering.

I’m concerned that this vote will go through. McConnell’s argument at this stage is that everyone should vote on the motion to proceed to get the AHCA (the House healthcare bill) to the floor, even if they don’t like it, so that it can be amended over and over until it’s an acceptable form.

It’s nice that he’s going the extra mile to fuck a bunch of people over.

He could have voted no by staying home. He’s coming back to vote yes.

But perhaps McCain’s illness will encourage some rigorous self-reflection, and at last, a change of heart. Perhaps he’ll realize that in his last years, he could take a meaningful stand against his increasingly brutal party—and help to save lives in the process.

Senator McCain, now is your time to shine.

The whole point of Russian interference was to weaken a Hillary Clinton presidency. Now they want a weak(er) Trump presidency.

I had to turn the volume on my computer way up to hear that ‘jingling’...the sound of her moving around in the car were many times louder.

It’s so weird to me when I hear about the areas that worship 9/11 but hate New York and what it’s supposed to stand for.

I worked at Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue about ten years ago, and R. Kelly always brought young girls in to have their makeup done by a specific makeup artist, because she loved bragging about having R.Kelly as a “client” and didn’t ask questions. It’s heartbreaking and infuriating that he’s been exploiting young

In my dreams EVERYTHING tying Trump to Putin will come to light. The pee tape and every other reason Putin has to blackmail Trump, all the money laundering schemes, the hacking of the DNC, everything. I want Trump - and by association all the GOP assclown who silently supported him - to go down in flames for this.

“it happened during the dessert course.”

I’m pretty sure “edged closer to Republicans” means “nominated someone I still have a throbbing hate-boner for.” Acting like a $13 minimum wage is close to Republican policy platforms is a giggle at best and completely disingenuous at worst.

I look at Clinton’s platform in 2016:

Correct me if I’m wrong, but so long as we don’t have a Parliament or Congress where people are appointed proportionately to how many votes a party receives, a >2 party system isn’t going to work. All they’ll do is siphon off enough votes from one party to hand power to the other party. We are locked in a binary
