no i agree that further research is needed and to claim anything for certain is unscientific so yes until then everything is speculative.

but biology and psychology are often linked. hormones have an effect on the brain and while yes some more research is needed, it is possible that the combination of the testosterone drop and that stress coupled with shitty gender norm expectations can lead to poor mental health.
