Reduced extreme poverty by over 50% worldwide in 20 years.

Well, taken most of the world out of poverty for starters, and created a middle class that never existed before. Yes , it is not perfect, but definitely better than millions dying from communism.

Per the article:

Quite frankly I think in this particular instance the punishment kind of fits right? He didn’t do anything illegal. The school didn’t just give him a suspension for a few games or *gulp* suspend him for the first drive...

Because you’re a blogger and not a journalist it doesn’t surprise me you left out the coaches full quote:

Please vote for Colorado State, Liberty, and Kansas thank you

And in telling those stories a sports journalist can do no wrong.

This guy is literally a nobody who played in Europe until he was 27 and then came over and scored 6 points in 20 minutes a game for 3 years. He likely decided he would rather be a star in Europe than the 4th guy off the bench in the NBA.  He is easily replaceable.

Almost like they didn’t get JJ Redick last season or have Kawhi mentioning them as a landing spot he’d be interested in

52 wins with the young stars says it’s going just fine.

Have you had a Naked Chicken Chalupa?  Chick-fil-a isn’t winning shit.

Fair points, but it looks like you underestimated the rejuvenating medications available to elite-tier, aging athletes.

If Miguel is in fact an illegal immigrant, then he should be.  I know enforcing immigration law isn’t popular on Jezebel (Cars edition), but the majority of Americans actually support enforcing laws.

On one hand I dont like salary caps as it stops those teams that want to spend, well spend... Or that Lebron is getting paid aprox. the same as Demar Derozan..

What? It's almost like sports are built around people rooting for a particular team.

A cap is necessary for competitive balance in the NBA more so than any other sport, due to the impact that one or two superstars can have on a team.

Why is it so tough for our generation (assuming we are a similar age) to admit that some chain restaurants are actually good? Texas Roadhouse is good, it’s okay, go ahead and say it!

Because context matters and he’s talking about clowning a teammate in a fucking video game?

Yes, the second-year player coming off injury should be very ashamed that he got outplayed by a 5x All-Star and current All-Defense guy. The whole Sixers team should probably never show their faces in public again, right?
