Fontana Dam, in North Carolina, was created in the 40's and in the process flooded many homes and graveyards. The federal government agreed to build a road to allow access to portions of un-flooded familial lands in exchange. A very small portion, just a tunnel, was built when the federal government changed their mind

Awe, thank you for your kind words and wise viewpoint...truly refreshing!

I still use mine, on AT&T pay as you go plan. I don't care about the apps, I just use my ipad.

It's a tough lesson to learn, but the kid needs to learn it. I'm surprised she wasn't shrieking? Fake?

I attended my grandmothers funeral many years ago and it absolutely scarred me. I will never go to another because of my experience.
At he Southern Baptist funeral one of the preachers felt it necessary to call out, in their melodic chanting rapping they perform, how happy she would have been if a certain gay person

I have neck and shoulder pain on a reoccurring basis, nothing like what you guys describe. I'm curious how you can sleep? When I'm in pain it's an impossible mix of sleepiness, nausea and sharp stabbing pain.
What do you use to get to sleep?

Are you not feeling well?

I completely agree with you! Reading the posts on this site can get so tiresome with the personal bias. I would certainly appreciate a more optimistic slant on reporting tech products and news. Calling into question the legitimacy of every product that doesn't fit the norm is baffling.

I completely agree with you and have done the same thing (minus considering a PS4). I am on a clam shell dumb phone with prepaid plan and will jump ship to the 1520. The WP8 ecosystem is very attractive. The Lumia 928 really sold me on Nokia and WP8.

The carrot on that stick is too tempting. I'm certain improprieties of the position have led to misuse of power.

I think you misread. I never suggested that tech build character. I agree with you.

Is it just me or does anyone else think it's only a matter of time before an NSA agent is so tempted by the potential for personal gain that they end up going rogue

Ah, now to chose. The 1020 at the new low price or the 1520...hmmm.

I wanted it to be so much more. A technological leading edge for the industry, like the original iPhone. I've been holding off on the purchase of a new phone, waiting for this release. But, now my decision is clear...at least until the next iteration.

What about garbage pickup?

Yea It does a disservice but, this kid, Trey, is probably a youngster. Tech will evolve 20 fold by the time he enters the work force. A year without tech builds character and face-to-face interpersonal skills.

This is interesting wether or not kids have too much tech is for a parent to decide (based on usage I would assume). But this topic gives me a great chance to talk about how common it has become on this and other tech blogs to poo-poo new tech fresh out of the gate (i.e. Smartwatches, 4k TV, XBOX One, etc.) So many

I would be one of those people...
