Given MS also has a huge monopoly on PC operating systems, I’m not sure it’s that foot-shooty.

Wow. For context, that’s more than Disney paid for either Lucasfilm or for Marvel.
Small factual error: The truck full of Squid Amiibo was stolen in Germany, not the UK. It was enroute from a factory in mainland Europe to the UK.
Yes, this. Although trying to steer a small child away from the one with logos all over it is kinda hard... :/
The princpleof “build-a-bear” is that you can choose any combination of fur design/costume etc. My 3 ytear old got a Cap one made with shield logos all over the fur, but could have just as easily chosen a plain brown bear (or bunny) with a cap costume, Unfortunately he chose... poorly.
Based on my little boy’s (aged three) taste, I’d swap out Yo Gabba Gabba (which he simply doesn’t understand) with Abney and Teal, but that’s still a great list.
“Didn’t science just have a study saying that 10 minutes of looking at huge breasts is equal to 30 minutes of cardio workout?”.
It’s a bit different, as almost every Zelda game has a different Link, each a different descendant of the Link in Skyward Sword. There’s no reason one of them couldn’t be female. Samus is a single character.
That’s gonna be, you know, a fascinating transition
From what I understand (ahem), the term originally referred to a sexual act that is completely consensual (and not technically “on someone’s head”).
Kilmer below Clooney?
I’m not really sure the analogy fits. I don’t particularly like Nintendo’s stance on this, but “Lets’ Plays” aren’t reviews by any stretch. They’re still usually the full video and audio content of the game.
Having owned a 3DS, 3DS XL and having had the New 3DS for a few weeks (UK Ambassador), I'd say it was worth it for the improved 3D/head tracking alone. It's like night and day compared to the old system, and experiencing games I'd played before with the 3D now cranked all the way up (which was pretty much unusable…
I honestly can't see the appeal as a fan of their games, nor for Nintendo in the long term. A short term bump at best, but the "I'll just wait a few years for it to be on my smartphone" mentality would kill their handheld market (especially the hardware) stone dead.
I have to say, of all the iterations (including XBox and Xbone), the original NXE interface was by far my favourite. More fun and customisable than the blades, but still fast and lag free.
Revisionist in the way Caesar just was a family name until it wasn't?
With the great EU purge, I can't Disney letting anyone do it anymore.
Given that KOTOR 2 ended with the Exile going to find Revan, it was obviously the plan for the third (and final) chapter. I don't really see KOTOR 3 happening without the Revan plot-line. Then again, I don't see KOTOR 3 happening at all.
It's most likely the rate at which they can manufacture and ship them that is the reason. Aus is a relatively small market (compared to EU and US) and is closer to Japan.
Well this is one of those really weird days on Kotaku. The guy who performs as Jam Baxter is my brother in law. :/
