An L.A. Noire sequel would be pretty nice, but I'll hold out for more free roam Western games forever. Weird idea here, but seeing a Red Dead set in Australia would please me to no end. I've just started my second viewing of the excellent Nick Cave-written The Proposition, and the idea just struck me.

Now playing

Oh God yes, I freaking loved the game's music too:

That's cool but in all honesty, they really need to remake GTA 2 as a 3D game. Because that was the best GTA game.

Nobody mentioned stumbling upon a bunch of cars in the desert, everyone shot, and finding a briefcase full of money, taking it, and getting hunted down a la "No Country for Old Men" yet? 'Cuz that's what happened to me.

Sounds like the government will launch something to space, you shoot it down mid-air and loot the debris? Or as someone else said, Area 51 in Las Venturas?

I was far more offended by him being called a comedian.

I don't think what you are asking is possible at this point?

I found the storytelling in Amnesia to be incredibly effective, but it was all in optional written journal entries, letters etc. what's particularly weird about that is I usually hate that sort of plot expansion "find all of the hidden audio logs to fully understand wtf is happening!" - but in Amnesia I really in

Play it on Hard.

Except there is no problem with linear games nor with scripted games. As long as they are good. The issue with some games (like Call of Duty) is that they are "popcorn" flick games. They are generic and you don't really care for anyone in it. Why do people consider linear games to be bad? Shit... Anything back in the

Dude, its not just a "trivial" matter. He is mad at Sony and THEY WERE THE AGGRIEVED back in the pre-PS1 days.

THIS. Absolutely.

I wouldnt mind a sequel, but i agree, it doesnt need it, not at all. I was so shocked at how it resolved, so used to big flashy finales, boy gets girl endings, everything working out great. In games this is especially true, i think developers are scared to put that feeling on you, after x amount of hours playing a

I feel the need to defend the game here against the "this is another video game by men, for men and about men" thing.

That giraffe scene had me standing there for like 5 minutes just enjoying the peacefulness. I was so sure joel or ellie was going to die.

Oh god, you're doing it with hearing off. I would hate to do that last Infected room in University with hearing off. I actually managed to stealth my way through that part shiving only two of them, but wow...hope you're young enough to stave off a heart attack. :)

The funny thing is despite the wonderful discussions I'm having about the game, I don't think it's anywhere near the list of my favourite games. Last of Us is definitely on the top of a list of must-play experiences, but I found myself starting a game plus on very easy simply because playing hard on the first go was

But even more than that, by the end Ellie was his family. I'm pretty sure most parents would sacrifice the world for their child, regardless of whether it was a shithole or not. Then of course, combined with everything we just said and it makes perfect sense.

But I'm pretty sure that's the point right? The writer wanted us to see things from Joel's perspective as we "committed" those atrocities ourselves. At the end, I found almost everything Joel did was exactly what I would do (with a few small differences). I'm quite surprised that Kirk, Zak, and Adam kept that level

The giraffe part was lovely.
