I loved/hated the first Bioshock.
I loved/hated the first Bioshock.
You are right and wrong.
Tainted love is not originally by Soft Cell, it's an old r&b song by Gloria Jones:
By the way, the fact that I actually posted this on the Bioshock Infinite review instead of the article about the new layout highlights how confusing I find the new layout. Maybe I'm stupid, but I think your website should cater to stupid people too. ;)
The new layout looks good, and the large images look gorgeous. However, I feel they also detract in terms of usability. It takes too long to scroll through the articles and it's more confusing to find an interesting item in a sea of endless large ones with no sidebar.
Sure, the features you added give more power and…
Homicide rates have steadily lowered in first world countries throughout the world for the past few decades. First world countries are the greatest consumers of modern videogames.
The reception to the game is tepid not because of uncontrollable market conditions, but because Crytek have clearly decided to follow their retarded "instincts" rather than customer feedback.
It's true that as open world games have become more realistic, there has been lack of coherence between the serious focused experience of the missions and the bonkers emergent gameplay that we engage in on our own as the players, but solving this dilemma by "making the story boring" is like trying to solve the problem…
I don't think censorship is a healthy response to things. I feel a healthy society should be able to accept the existence of these stupid things and be able to respond to them. It seems logical that as a collective, healthy society, we look down or ridicule both these types of things and the people who make them, but…
I think it should be looked down on or spoken out against. I don't think it should be removed from the app store.
So yeah we just finished our discussion on how this type of minstrel show sucks and now the main page to this website reads "KOTAKU presented by King of the Nerds"
Agreed. Not to mention the villages have electric power, there are cars and jet-skis everywhere, and small bars and things like that dot the island. The island isn't exactly a jungle island filled with "savages".
Sounds good.
Actually, I think I agree with most of what you wrote.
It still sold well, most people who played it did not find it racist.
No, I didn't mean financial productivity, and as I said, it's fine to have personal hobbies. Still, you need to go out and do something in life if you expect respect. That doesn't mean making a boatload of money. That can mean volunteering in a social cause, getting involved in your community, teaching, or even…
These incredible social psychology skills were of course acquired through long sessions of online matches of games like Halo and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, what with their thriving communities of eloquent, empathic, liberal minded folks.
Although almost every person on this planet would think this is gross and sexist and infantile and offensive, those people are all fools! Gamers are enlightened beings with a capacity for critical analysis far beyond that of the average person, and thus they realize how this is not sexist at all it's just the feminazi…
If a game can make me cry I feel proud and honored. Proud that there is such a game on the market, that can have emotional depth and move beyond mere entertainment, and honored that I got to experience it.
Max Payne 3 was MADE by the Soundtrack. By that, I mean the following: try replaying that helicopter sniper escort without the music... It is absolutely nothing without it.
