All I got to say is that the show has a certain wit and cleverness that a lot of people like. I think that the contrast of "hey, this is a girls show but its clever and funny and actually has decent characters" that has caught peoples' interest.

In Windows 7, clicking the right hand corner of the taskbar minimizes all of your windows. Best feature of Windows 7, imho.
