Some of us don’t make a habit of staring at YouTube videos for hours, and wouldn’t know a new video was posted that we might enjoy ;)

CARB overestimated diesel emissions back then, not the EPA. I get what you are saying, but if glider kits are being misused to avoid emissions standards, then something ought to be done to stop it. If it turns out more recent emissions estimates skew lower than previous estimates, then by all means start a call for loo

“Using EPA‟s own earlier projections, we estimate the excess NOx emissions in 2040 from these uncontrolled gliders would be almost 30 times higher than the 2015 emissions from all noncompliant Volkswagen cars, and would be comparable to the entire 2018 NOx budget for fossil fuel power plants in the 22 states covered

You would. :)

I may not have been clear - the plumbing used INSIDE homes back in the late 50s through the 70s was often galvanized steel (not lead) and was used countrywide - this is the era-specific thing, and not a Michigan specific one. Older than that and lead pipes were common in homes everywhere because they didn’t know any

Pre-1970 plumbing tended to be galvanized steel, which is common for the era everywhere. Lead was introduced in the pipes used to supply water to a house and the infrastructure in several MI cities disappeared when various industries closed plants many years ago.

If any of you are in Michigan, do you want to drive this sometime?

Sarcastic I know, but I drive by that tree all the time and you can barely even tell where he hit it anymore. Pretty impressive for the tree when you look at how damaged the Vette was.

Oh now this was certainly regrettable (uni-wiper as well as the hardware store stick on lettering).

Dax also wrote / directed it so that probably has a lot to do with it. He seems to pick movies where he can just have fun and feed his automotive / motorcycle habit.

^ This. Speaking as someone with an ‘01 225 roadster with 108k on it going through replacing the entire suspension in my spare time, i do not recommend this unless your already set aside repair budget matches the purchase price of the car.

The breathlessness of the seconds before the start. When the only thing he could hear was the beat of his pulse and the sound of his breath.

Stef, is there a reason most of your posts don’t have titles?

On the interior, every person in the car’s seat will intuitively know and learn your individual preferences using profile identification with “seamless entry” that relies heavily on the company’s FF ID ecosystem.

Used to raise / lower the top on my exgf’s NC Miata all the time - it’s quite easy while buckled in actually!

I thought the same thing - other OEMs (BMW/Audi) are already providing adaptive headlights that use sensors and electric motors. At that point why bit add some flair like this as well? I hope that is what they are doing.

While that is true - they certainly wouldn’t - I noticed on a couple of the rear shots that there is a license plate, so maybe he has had it on the road?

Joey Ruiter here is based out of Grand Rapids MI, and Michigan is pretty lenient on letting you drive anything with a firewall, lights, a mirror, and a license plate. Also, as much as everyone is enjoying ridiculing this thing, I really did enjoy the dune buggy creation he built and flogged a bit at the Silver Lake

This is what I am seeing too.

Forever the grays... I promise it matches up well, except maybe for the hitch area.
