Again people come with shitty analogies.

Needs more Comic Sans.
And you have no idea what you are talking about, or attempting to argue against. Please come back when you can contribute intellectually to the conversation at hand.
To be fair it's based on a real life game played at parties, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_(pa…
I posted that same thing.
Minus the whole shapeshifter thing... Basically you are all on a ship, attempting to kill the others without being found out.
Isn't this the idea behind the game "The Ship"?
Again, as I've said this to so many people already, both can exist, I think the focus should shift. Right now the focus is towards realism, which as I said I believe is a step in the wrong direction.
Metal Gear Solid 2, Raiden is stripped naked, abused, and tortured. He is also humiliated sexually when he has to run through the compound naked.
Then, in Metal Gear Solid 4 Ocelot forcibly kisses snake while holding him in a headlock.
It was more of a response to the article, and how we will have realistic graphics by next year.
I am no advocating for stopping it all together. I'm advocating the change in focus. I think the focus should be on creating interesting stylized graphics.
Realism also bring out the blaring issues in animation, and environment interaction. While in a stylized game you don't have to be true to life, and it's more…
I completely disagree, as another game that came out in a similar time with a similar theme RAGE was a boring trek through a wasteland with absolutely no character.
Are you just going to call everyone a Nintendo apologist? Seriously dude, just shut up with that shit.
I enjoyed Zelda 2...
Never played the Last of Us... so I don't have a frame of reference for that games story.
Well stylized actually can mean pretty much anything that isn't striving for a realistic look.
Something along the lines of cel shaded like wind waker and borderlands are the primary examples people make.
And yeah Persona and Disgaea would fit into that category as well. At least in my interpretation.
Because it's not both as it is. Most triple A devs dont' touch stylistic games that aren't marketed to kids, hell even a game that was entirely stylistic like FF has moved to realistic graphics.
Sure stylized games exist, but they are limited to indie devs and a small amount of big devs. Otherwise it's ignored.
It's not…
Stylized isn't easy.
It's bad because the emphasis on only on making realistic games. They for the most part ignore stylized.
If it were limited to military shooters and action games, it wouldn't be a problem. However, most people won't even give a game a chance unless it goes with a realistic look.
And anyway the problem with that is, the…
Realism is really not the way we should be going.
